Sitarist Vatsal Dave performs an intimate North Indian classical sitar recital in New York City — Sunday, July 26, 2026, presented by Chhandayan. Join in person in Manhattan, or stream it live from anywhere in the world.
Vatsal Dave — a sitarist in the Imdadkhani (Gayaki) gharana and a disciple of Padma Bhushan Pandit Budhaditya Mukherjee — brings an evening of North Indian (Hindustani) classical music to Manhattan. The program is a solo sitar recital of ragas, from a meditative alap to rhythmic interplay with tabla.
The concert takes place on Sunday, July 26, 2026, from 4:30 to 6:00 PM EDT at CCIM (the Chhandayan Center for Indian Music), 269 West 39th Street, 5th Floor, New York, NY 10018, and is presented by Chhandayan. It will be performed live in person and streamed worldwide, so audiences anywhere can attend online.
Tickets — for both in-person seats and the worldwide livestream — are available through Viewcy.
