Vatsal Dave — a sitarist in the Imdadkhani (Gayaki) gharana and a disciple of Padma Bhushan Pandit Budhaditya Mukherjee — brings an evening of North Indian (Hindustani) classical music to Manhattan. The program is a solo sitar recital of ragas, from a meditative alap to rhythmic interplay with the tabla, accompanied by Aditya Pathak.
