Privacy Policy

The short version: i…Me…Mine keeps everything on your device. There is no account, no sign-in, no server, and no analytics. We do not collect, transmit, see, or store any of your information. Your documents never leave your iPhone or iPad unless you choose to export an encrypted backup yourself.

i…Me…Mine — Family Vault (“i…Me…Mine”, “the app”, “we”) is a private, on-device vault for your family’s important documents — passports, IDs, driver’s licenses, insurance cards, and more. This policy explains how your information is handled. Because the app is built to be fully local, there is very little to explain.

1. Information we collect

None. Everything you add — documents, photos, scanned text, ID details, family members, pets, and emergency information — is stored only on your device. We have no servers and no account system, so this information is never sent to us or to anyone else.

2. On-device processing

Features that may look like they need the cloud all run locally on your device using Apple’s frameworks:

None of these send your images or data off the device.

3. Backups you control

You may create an encrypted, password-protected backup file and save it wherever you choose (for example, the Files app or your own iCloud Drive). This is entirely optional and initiated by you. The backup is encrypted on your device with your password before it is written, and we never receive it. If you save it to iCloud Drive or another location, that service’s own terms apply to the file stored in your account; we have no access to it.

4. Face ID / biometrics

If you enable the lock, the app uses Face ID or Touch ID (or your passcode) to unlock. This is handled entirely by iOS and the device’s Secure Enclave — your biometric data never leaves the device and is never available to the app.

5. Notifications

Document-expiry reminders are scheduled as local notifications on your device. There is no remote push service and no reminder data is sent anywhere.

6. Purchases

i…Me…Mine Pro is a one-time Apple In-App Purchase. The transaction is handled by Apple; we never see your payment details. Your purchase status is verified on-device through Apple’s StoreKit. Apple’s handling of purchases is covered by Apple’s Privacy Policy.

7. No third parties, no tracking

The app contains no advertising, no analytics, and no third-party tracking SDKs. We do not profile you, and we do not sell or share data — because we never collect any.

8. Data retention & deletion

Because your data lives only on your device, deleting the app erases everything stored in it. Any backup files you exported remain wherever you saved them until you delete them. We hold nothing to delete on our side.

9. Children

i…Me…Mine is a general productivity tool not directed to children under 13, and—since we collect no information at all—we do not knowingly collect any child’s personal information.

10. Changes

If this policy changes, we will revise the date above. Material changes will be noted in the app.
